There are an infinite number of online tutorials with various methods and breakdowns, but more than that my advice is discipline, patience and honesty:
Draw every day, study the work of artists you admire, study the work of artists you want to be like, decide what kind of artist you want to be and work backwards from there to figure out how you're going to achieve that goal. Understand that you'll improve over time but don't look for shortcuts or easy answers, instead just enjoy what you're doing and know that when you do look back you'll be surprised by how far you've come. Be realistic about your work and where you are at and don't lie to yourself or let others lie to you about your progress - you're not great, you'll never be the best, you probably aren't even where you think you are BUT THAT IS OKAY!
If you have those three things then it's just a matter of time before you're an awesome artist, but I find the best artists I've ever met will never accept that they've 'made it'.
