To start off by stating the obvious, I haven't managed to draw, paint or let alone upload much artwork at all these last few months! Working life and living-with-other-half life has many benefits, but time for painting isn't one of them.
On the upside, knitting and crochet are easier to fit in, you can easily pick up a project for a few spare minutes then put it away again. I've even managed to produce this crochet dinosaur.
After several weeks of not putting anything down on paper, I feel very rusty with a pencil or brush. To break the deadlock, I've set myself a little challenge, and I'm putting it right here so I can't pretend it didn't
For some reason, I always get DIY stuff. (I sympathise with Nobby "They always give me bath salts and I can’t think why, ‘cos it’s not as if I hardly every has a bath" Nobbs)
I haven't crocheted for AGES (must have been since primary school) and that pathetic nose took me a good 2 hours!

It's the first proper day of the summer holiday, and all my housemates have gone off to their various destinations, Florida, Shropshire, Copenhagen...
