A dream can be a passing thought; a passionate ambition. A dream can be a battle fought; a superficial mission. A dream can be a driving force; a forgiving comfort. A dream can be a thriving source; a deceitful consort. A dream can thrill you; drive you or kill you. Beware of this, dreamers— and Dream On.

It’s hard to write about my therianthropy. For many reasons. One, on every topic I think of, someone else has already written it better. Two, any words I can put to the feeling seem inadequate. Three, as soon as I start thinking about it, I start to lose sense of the meaning of ‘words’. Four, I’m afraid to make a mistake on such a tender topic.
And much more.

This is just an example of how an animal person can feel very split between the two parts, as though each side is always trying to control and keep the other side in check.
This does NOT mean that I have multiple personalities, etc, or that that is what therianthropy is. I am writing this way merely to make a point.

Hi! I know how you feel, with how in even the slightest shift words are hard to say or write or understand. And the things in the poem, also, like cravings or that constant need to just run.

It's cool to see there are other red-wolves around ^_^

Oh, thanks!
Glad to hear some feedback from someone from the Library crowd!

A very clever way to communicate your feelings. Though I'm not a therianthrope, I can definitely see that it might be hard to balance the two halves of yourself.

Thank you. I think many agree with me when I say that it can be quite difficult.

I would like to hear more.

Thanks! Like I said, it's hard because everyone's already written it so much better.

I wouldn't say better, just already been done.

It would still be nice to hear from your point of view.

Gaaah I know how this feels.
Sometimes there's a difference between teh animal instinct and the human interest(such as the person may just be a picky eater, not that their animal side wouldn't eat plants normally).

Anyway......
Gah....
"redwolf say be me! human say no.
human say be me! redwolf say no. "
Though for the most part I'm usually at balance.....
Sometimes I run into that- it's quite irratable.

Yea, it's difficult. The diet part especially, since I'm a vegetarian. The wolf part in me goes, "WHAT?!" And so I end up scarfing tofu meat like a dog, in a pitiful attempt to make the cravings go away.

*nod nod*
I've been raised to like meat either way, but sometimes I crave something in particular.
Like, no seasons, no man-made sauce. Just meat.
Or even the smell of raw meat can satisfy the craving.

Roadkill makes me drool. o.0
And I used to bite other kids and make them bleed when they made me mad. I loved the taste.
