that would be Maxwell Boltzmann, wait or is it James Clerk Maxwell? damn. Uh.

the text is a piece of a dream I had. the music might be "No Rain" bassline by Blind Melon. But I don't really remember. the top part is my old drafting assignments. plus lyrics to songs by the Eraserheads.

part of the science series.

ah, the wonderful world of numbers ...
being a resume, i like how it is clean cut, everything in order, everything fixed to look just right for that crucial moment when everyother moment everything in our lives is going about askew

gauze on a wound. science or a dream. see, now thats restraint. really visually pleasing. but you know science is not my thing, so im a bit lost on that front.

i love these thought pieces of yours- always so many conceptual layers to them, never quite sure if i've been able to get down to the root cause...

yeah, when i look at that piece all i can see are bits and pieces of you, and you even included your pic. hehe. *sabay ilag, kung sakaling binatukan mo ako. ;p* and i can still remember The Undoing of Everything.. roller coaster ride.. everything back to its womb.. the happiness leaving, and you wonder where they're going..
the way you put the elements together is very nice.

thanks for the comment and inquiry, dygel.

1: short descriptive summary (of events)
2: a summary of your academic and work history
1: take up or begin anew
2: return to a previous location or condition
3: assume anew
4: give a summary (of)

is it my resume, or is it humanity's resume?

is it my tendency to shift focus, to "assume anew" whenever i fail at one of my endeavours? music to writing to physics to engineering to art; to just revert to my native tongue and attribute my failures to being homesick?

all the pieces in this collage came from old stacks of paper i've been keeping for years. it is a summary of my life in a way. but an incomplete one. just as you do not enumerate your weaknesses in your own resume.

hope that helps

I'm rather confused, but I'll toss in a couple suggestions floating in my head.

It strikes me as more schematic in nature than resume style. Resume are usually a page of solid text, while this is text accompanied by several non-text, symbolic agents.

This kind of art style usually reminds me of the kind of cryptic, almost psychotic diagraming often associated with arcane facts of lore/history and old medical analysis, particularly when given that kind of weathered paper look. As such, I think I would have played around with lining the drafting section so the longer axis ran down the middle of the man's face (is that Freud?). A touch I might add is to alter the orientation of the music and add a layer of scribbled musical/syntactical ananysis.

Of course, this is just what strikes me. I may have missed the breadth of what you were trying to capture entirely, but it seems fleeting like that.

Excellent style here. Kind of like the look to this "resume". :) (Smile)
