Digimon Academy: Simon + Turimon

Yes, there has been a change in the main cast as you maybe already noticed.
I actually planned these two guys to come up in the side cast, but things and opinions change
As some of you might know, Turimon is based off a secretary bird [link]
I recently watched a documentary about those birds on NatGeo, and since I wanted to design a bird Digimon nevertheless, I went for a secretary
I don't know how I came up with this kinda weird pose, Turimon looks somehow angry although he isn't >_<'

Simon surely is a little geek. He has a keen intellect and stands out at mental work.
He is interested in almost everything that has to do with technology, computers and physics.
Simon often appears hypercritical, which he somehow doesn’t notice himself. He actually has no bad intentions: But this characteristic is hardly conducive, when it comes to meeting new people.
He loves comics, math, chess and fiddling with old computers or machines. He often seems reluctant and nervous in presence of other people (especially girls), but thaws again quite quickly and can even be a real blabbermouth.
You can barely inspire Simon for an adventure that could possibly include a risk. An instinct warns him when he gets onto thin ice, and he then just wants to turn around. Perhaps it's not quite right to speak of an instinct. His analytical and practical mind immediately covers up the risks of each proposal. If he says no, he does not follow a notion, but an opinion based upon facts, as he sees them – and no one sees them better! Some people might just call him a coward.

He is a reliable, intelligent, diligent and conscientious fellow. If presented a problem, he will usually find a solution. When he therefore takes his time, he will do complicated investigations and researches in order to guard against any mistake. If he hates something, it is being overwhelmed by surprises of any kind. Nevertheless, he’s is a true friend and tries to help people with his abilities as good as possible. You can rely on his word and he would never betray his friends or forsake them.
