PMD: VF - 733: Start Up

May not be worth much, theorizing here, but I just reread the whole series in a while, may as well add my thoughts.

Considering the cover of the final book, and the purpose for the Space Engine as described by Darkrai, as well as Lovrina's reaction when she overhears Darkrai talking about it, I wonder if she was going to try turning Arceus into XD004? And she's playing along so she can wait for that opportunity? I still hold out hope we'll know what was intended, someday. I've been waiting on some series to continue for over a decade, I can keep waiting on Victory Fire, too.
