Sorry I've been so ridiculously busy, no time for any real updates.
Mostly all taking care of the kids (read: Kid / Puppy / boyfriend and occasional babysitting) 6 days of work, 3 of them double shifts. Out of the house from 8am until maybe 2 am with a teenie occasional 2 hour break in the middle to take the puppy out and maybe shower. Not to mention cooking / cleaning / and all that other fun stuff. And Diablo 3, usually when I get home at 2 in the morning. Regrets the next day? I think so
That being said the graphic novel project is progressing quite nicely. (mostly because my writer comes to see me at my evening job) After spending over
I'm somewhat excited to announce that I have started working on a graphic novel. We're at the very start of of the process so it won't be out for a bit but there is a lot of enthusiasm for the project so far and the material we have come up with so far holds a lot of promise.
Thats it for now, we don't even have a title but I'll update soon with character sketches and whatnot.
I wish I had more time to draw. I'm almost (maybe) done my most recent picture and I'm really excited about finally uploading it.
I've learned so much about digital painting in such a short while recently. I remember when my friend Seb first gave me his old Intuos 2. I tried it and I kind of threw my hands up and went "I can't do this" and then I didn't touch it for months.
There is still so much farther to go but for the time being, I'm content.
Super busy with work (sad face) and some people generally getting all up in my face. No violence. Focus it in a productive manner.
And a lot of love for M.
Enjoy the weekend!
Thank you for the favorites, it really means ever so much to me that you enjoy my artwork! I invite you to add me to your watch so that you can see all the future beaded and stitched pieces I have planned! Just think of the sparkles...
