Clark Kent (Smallville) by suburbantimewaster Clark Kent (Smallville) by suburbantimewaster
That's right, I used the Star Wars dollmaker to create Clark Kent from the old CW show, Smallville.  Smallville was my introduction to Superman and Clark Kent was my first love.  I'll admit, Superman's not one of my favorite super heroes, but there is something about him that I've recently begun to admire.  It's something I discovered when I was watching Waltz (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) when Sisko and Dukat are trapped on a hostile planet with the latter going insane over his daughter's death.  In that episode, Dukat explained that he felt the Cardassians had the right to rule Bajor because they were the superior race yet pitied them for being so.  I realized that Clark, with his super strength, flight, heat vision, X-ray vision, super speed and super breath could easily conquer humanity and become supreme ruler of Earth, but he won't, because that's not what makes him Superman.  What makes Clark Superman is how he takes on his responsibilities and uses them to help people who aren't as gifted as him.  Clark would never force anyone to do anything they didn't want to do.  Truth is, I've always wondered how Clark and Dukat would interact with each other.  I imagine Dukat being jealous of Clark similar of how he's jealous of Sisko because, not only is Clark more powerful, but he is to Earth what Dukat wants to be to Bajor.  I didn't finish Smallville (stopped watching after Lex left), but I know that, in many other Superman continuities, there are statues built in his honor.  Which is something Dukat felt should've been done on Bajor, but wasn't for obvious reasons.  Clark would be horrified by Dukat's actions, similar to how Clark is horrified by Lex's actions and those of many other villains around him, but would still be against killing him and, whenever Dukat goes on one of his self-justifying tirades, would try to convince Dukat that what he does is morally wrong, no matter how he justifies it.  Have to admit, it's a real shame no one's written Star Trek: Deep Space Nine/Smallville crossover.  I'd write it myself, but there are two reasons why I can't.  One, I haven't seen all of Smallville.  Two, I wouldn't know how to set it up.  Three, I don't know anyone who'd RP this scenario with me.  Plus, one forum post I read about Star Trek and Smallville said that Garak could psychologically beat him and that would also be interesting.

I remember that show! I've enjoyed the different versions of Superman over the years.
One of my favorites was Lois and Clark.

I didn't finish watching Smallville either and stopped after a season or so.
I guess it always frustrated me that Clark wouldn't tell Lana about himself. He wanted a relationship
with her but there can't be a relationship without truth.

Truth be told, I never cared much for Lana.
