So, I have a big deadline coming up for "Astonishing Adventures" Issue #5. Lots of work to do: I have an article about toga porn to write, a cover with gladiators to paint, and four black and white illustrations to draw for two stories. One's a steampunk story, and the other involves vampires. W00t!
Here's a link to the previous issue, #4- I did 4 black and white interior illustrations for that as well. Go and check it out!

I think I need to introduce you to another awesome artist here...
Anywho, congrats/enjoy/have fun!
Oh, and vampires? Oh no...no...they found Eddie's long lost brother!! (sorry, couldn't help myself)
As for steampunk... It's a cool idea, in theory, but I haven't seen much so far in the steampunk genre that actually works as a story. What I've seen, for the most part, seems to place gimmicks over character, and that's annoying. Plus I guess I'm too much of a historical purist to get too into the idea, but if I'm being paid to draw gears and sci fi Victorians, I'm always happy to take the money!
As for the vampire story, the visuals are going to be more noir and Edward Hopper than anything Anne Rice-y or Twilight-esque. After all, the first picture is going to be in a retro Twin Peaks style diner!
