My latest promotional piece– depicting a family fleeing on the Underground Railroad with the help of Harriet Tubman.
Seriously - could any man - particularly any white man - living back in this time have even imagined a black slave woman could escape North and then risk her life to return to the South some 19 times to bring back around 300 slaves North to freedom, many of them her own family members? I don't think so... and then Harriet "Moses" Tubman comes along, and the rest is history! Truly she was a fearless woman and a real hero... nice work on this!
Incredible work, great use of the colors contrast to the night.
This is my first time seeing art of Harriet Tubman/the Underground Railroad.
If it were any other narcoleptic attempting to steer a course to freedom from out of the jaws of slave-hunting Crackers these kids would be in trouble; as it is they might cheat those flesh-peddling Legrees yet!
This looks so good, no lie!
so touching, beautifully drawn and wow!! the light is amazing!!
