The Big Bad Wolf Speaks by suburbanbeatnik The Big Bad Wolf Speaks by suburbanbeatnik
Another one of my favorite pieces from 2015. This was done for McGraw Hill-- it's for a poem called "The Big Bad Wolf Speaks," based on the story of Little Red Riding Hood.

Well I cannot call the Wolf "Bad" when it has been drawn so well, but it does seem a trifle diminutive to be called "Big" (although that may be a trick of perspective and an addiction to Creature Feature beasties influencing me unduly!).;) (Wink)

Well, he's supposed to be 'relatable' to use a current buzzword, so I didn't want to make him too scary.

Now, if I were doing a proper villainous wolf, that would be different altogether!

Ah, so you wanted more of a "Ron Perlman" wolf then?
