Next character being revealed is Prime, yes he's a metal sonic but, with a difference....
Prime was the first, the first ever design Dr Robotnik had before the rendition we all have today. Pretty much there was a flaw in the desgin called the 0.5 failure where prime was made to be faster than sonic reaching light speed. However due to a ventilation problem the design would be subject to explode when it reaches it's peak temperature, so Robotnik abandoned v.1 and built v.2.0 which is what we all know as metal sonic. Now robotnik being reduced to a pile of scrap in his secret stronghold he finds the original plans for Prime and sets to work building him with ventilation in mind. However, upon completion...Prime grabs the attention....of some very unwanted company...
I did this with steampunk in mind, with cogs and wheels but i wanted to keep some ideas as faithful as possible, that only being his head, everything else was based on metal's skeletal structure and refined to being made into something a bit more scrap looking. Personally, I hate his blue but at the time it looked ok but I wanted something to look different from the true blue used for metal sonic.
