Mighty is one of the only members of the chaotix corps to have an actual military background. Unable to let sonic go to eggman tower on his own the army called in mighty and ray to assist him. Since then they formed their own army of two and have been sent on global black ops missions Worldwide. They recently met back up with sonic tails and knuckles in the midst of the phantom Ruby event. Mighty after the tower incident went away and improved his tech making his 'Dillo-Shell.' A plating of nano tech armour that can be collapsed and structure to reenforce his back and arms and pretty much any part of his body that needs fortifying. If anything it makes his strength even greater able to take out ground assets whilst literally running through walls whilst Ray is above giving surveillance and recon to him. As a team they're unbeatable so to join vectors ilk seemed a little left of centre. But to both mighty and ray their work is far more specific and strategic under vector.
