Welcome to the explorer's guild! We pride ourselves at being the pioneers are charting uncharted nightmares, highlighting the best of kingdoms and bringing everyone a little closer together!
Here, you will be:
- Opening your own kingdom up for exploration
- Visiting kingdoms to visit and obtain their passport stamps
- Turning your passport stamps for exploration rewards!
- Also, if you have a chance, check out our quest board, sometimes you'll see unusual quests, or requests in there.
Now, let's get you started on how to make yourself a novice explorer!
STEP 1: SETTING UP YOUR KINGDOM:
Each Stygian has their own elaborate home nightmare, known as their Kingdom! This is where they reside, this is their world and comfort where they occasionally get visitors - though why not have more visitors? The Explorer's Guild encourages all Stygian to give those travelling a full tourist-friendly experience, with these fancy certified steps below:
SETTING UP A KINGDOM STEP 1: Create a passport stamp!
A passport stamp is a fun and simple graphic the describe the name of your Stygian's kingdom and maybe even a little about it! First:
Click on the image above to download a .psd of all passport stamp templates! If you cannot use a .psd (photoshop) document, you can use either the default diamond or default circle. 
On the template, add the name of your Stygian's world in any readable font!
Add in some graphics in WHITE on TOP of images you think represent your Stygian's Kingdom!
Then, fill the bottom template shape with a SINGLE colour of your choice. The passport stamp should only have one colour
Once done, you can go ahead and move to the next step below. Upload your image into a sta.sh - you'll need it for later! You can create one stamp per Stygian you own, though it's easier to just do one for now, and come back to more stamps later! SETTING UP A KINGDOM STEP 2: 
Let's set up your Stygian's Kingdom to get it ready for tourism. Simply create a sta.sh, website, OR journal link you will not lose, and open the sta.sh below and copy and paste it. Feel free to add your own graphics, images, icons, banners, what have you, to decorate it!
You can add an IC reward such as "upon completion your Stygian can now see in the dark in this Kingdom" or "your Stygian now knows how to make a latte in this Kingdom!". These rewards should be small and cute, and not contradict, or affect their appearance. Make sure IC rewards are contained within their realm only (write a disclaimer that say something like "this happens for x time only in this kingdom"). This is OPTIONAL! Items from the kingdom are okay, since they are basically gifts from your Stygian to another! You may add a TCG boss to your kingdom. This is 1 per kingdom in 1 quest only. The exception being if you have the job skill Explorer Level 4: Conquer Your Fears, which will allow you to add one more boss (as an "invading force") as your fourth quest!SAMPLES OF KINGDOMS:The Gardens, The Crucible of Chaos, El Dorado
SETTING UP A KINGDOM STEP 3: Post your kingdom for approval!
PLEASE PUT YOUR STYGIAN ID IN THE DESCRIPTION Once you've finished setting up, post your Kingdom for approval by clicking the screenshot image above. A mod will look over it and offer critique if there is any. If they have any feedback, they will notify you to give you any further approval feedback, and you may resubmit it for approval again. You can use css/sta.sh formatting to format your page! If the bg colour is too light we may change it otherwise, we can try to faithfully replicate your world formatting { such as this one }. Make sure if your world has graphics/images you KEEP THE IMAGES ON YOUR STASH or the will disappear. If everything looks good, your Kingdom will be added to the EXPLORABLE KINGDOMS LIST, which you can see below! You're ready to now explore other Kingdoms hooray! You will also be granted: (once again submit your kingdom for approval here )- + 1 Exploration Token
- + 5 Shadow Tokens
- + 5 Skill points
For completing this when your kingdom is approved! This is a one time per USER grant, though skill points will still be granted for multiple Stygian you own.
A note about those exploring your Kingdom: to save you time, users will use a default claims form to claim prizes from completing any quests in any kingdom. They will also be able to pick up your kingdom's passport stamp if their quest fit the general art/writing guidelines. This just saves extra work on your end, so you don't always have to sit around to approve things, though if you'd like to respond to someone's kingdom quest they did of your kingdom, in the form of art or writing back, that is a super fun thing to do, and you are always able to (just the usual non-exploration quest rewards apply to this).
UPDATING YOUR WORLD: If you are updating your world/ would like the quests updated, please submit the same form above, but make a note that this is an updated world, and things you'd like changed in your new sta.sh link or comments. If your Stygian has ascended, feel free to submit another claim with their new ID number, so we can reconnect the Stygian to their world!STEP 2: VISITING OTHER WORLDS:
Now it is time to pack your Stygian's bags and have them visit other worlds! What kind of new places will they discover next?
VISITING OTHER WORLDS STEP 1: PICK A KINGDOM TO START: Any of the below images are explorable kingdoms. Why not get started! Simply pick a quest within a kingdom (it should say "Quest 1: NAME HERE", "QUEST 2 NAME HERE ETC", PICK ONE) and work on the prompt at your interpretation. Feel free to refer to the setting of the Kingdom to help you out, or any points of interest. You may complete as many kingdom quests as you like, but we encourage you to explore different ones. Every time you complete a different kingdom, you get their passport stamp. If you'd like, you can always come back to do another quest or the same quest within that kingdom, though you only get one stamp per kingdom (other prizes can be repeated daily - see below). VISITING OTHER WORLDS STEP 2: TURNING IN YOUR QUESTWhen you are ready to turn in the quest, simply on that exploration page, click on the "turn in quest". It'll auto fill everything for you save the link of your completed quest (see screenshot below).
EXPLORATION QUEST REWARDS SKILL POINT BREAKDOWN: + MAX 100 POINTS (cannot exceed this limit).
+2 skill points base per quest (your Stygian must be in image, waist-up, and at least b+w shaded. There must be some element of the exploring world in the image (such as a prop or background)) OR for 250 words
+2 bonus skill points if coloured AND shaded
+2 skill points if the Stygian is full body image
+1 skill point if a Treat or daydream is included
+2 skill points for drawing the hosting Stygian of that Kingdom (where applicable)
+2 bonus skill point if image has a discernible background (ie it actually looks like background and isn't just floating on a blue canvas)
+ 1 skill point every 50 words per submission after 250 words
+ Collabs are okay, but EACH Stygian must be in the image (max 3 people per collab this way, same points otherwise apply).
EXPLORATION QUEST REWARDS SHADOW TOKEN POINT BREAKDOWN: + You get +2 shadow tokens PER exploration completed. Shadow token rewards share a timer with DAILY quests and MERCHANT'S GUILD QUESTS (the max monthly limit of 25 a month). That means if you already earned 5 from daily quests, and 5 from Explorer's guild, you can earn a 15 tokens this way.
EXPLORATION REWARDS EXPLORER COINS BREAKDOWN: + You can earn +1 Explorer Coin a day (every 24 hours) for a completed quest. Meaning if you complete three a day, you can still get the skill points and tokens, but you wont be able to get extra coins that day.
EXPLORATION REWARDS STAMP + When your exploration quest is approved, we'll add a stamp under your Stygian's Exploration passport log, which you can also access from their site profile (click on that link, click your own Stygian, then scroll down to World!
When you are ready to turn in the quest:
Click the world on that { exploration world page (click a specific world) } Scroll down to their quests and click on the SUBMIT QUEST # button for the quest you did. It'll auto fill everything for you save the link of your completed quest and get you ready to submit it. STEP 3: YOUR STYGIAN'S EXPLORATION INFO IS NOW ON SITE
Your world info will show all the badges you've collected, info about your Stygian, and info about their world!
Click on your site profile Then click on the Stygian you want to select of yours Then go down to World: and you'll see two links and your hard passport collecting work!

Buy items with Exploration coins on site by clicking on the image above or clicking GO TO THE EXPLORER SHOP HERE! Various items may be added or restocked over time!
STEP 4: SPECIAL REWARD BOARD:
These are SPECIAL REWARDS that you can take only if you have a certain amount of passport stamps. Completing these will give you extra rewards!
