Tea Ducks (Full)

This year for Christmas, I did an arts & crafts exchange with two of my good friends.  For my part, I decided to create a triptych of watercolor paintings that represent the biggest thing that brought us together: The Rubber Ducky Tea Society.  When Katrina got "tea ducks" for the three of us, Krystal gave that name to our tea partying group.  Ever since then, we have tried to meet for tea every few months and, of course, we use our tea ducks every time.  These tea parties have brought the three of us together over the past year and made us better friends than anything in all the years we'd known each other before then.  So I wanted to memorialize that part of this year and recognize our friendships by painting tea ducks!  I will write more about these pieces' creation and meaning in my next New Art blog post, so please look forward to that
