Beary Christmas

Oh my goodness, folks!  I have been so busy the past couple months and it's really started to get insane now that it's almost Christmas!  I feel like I barely have time to complete anything, art-related or otherwise.  One of the few things I HAVE finished is my annual Christmas card illustration   I've written a long, detailed blog about its creation so I won't talk too much about it here (check out the blog post! studiomikarts.blogspot.com/201… ).  I will say that this is a painting of my cat, Bear, interestedly watching Santa fly across the heavens on Christmas Eve night!  I chose the most simple idea I could, so that I would have time after creating the piece to actually make, fill out, and send the Christmas cards, but despite the simplicity, this is one of my most well-received cards ever!  I'm very pleased
