Deviation Actions
My work is copyrighted. Certain works of mine may be used, but there are conditions.
Emotes - These can be used in websites, forums and the like provided that:
a) The emote in question is licensed under a Creative Commons license. (check the deviation page, on the right hand side, at the bottom)
b) They stay intact. They are not edited in any way, shape or form.
c) Credit is given to me through either a link to my profile here on dA, or a direct link to the deviation itself.
d) They are not used commercially, and no profit is made from their use.
e) You let me know what you are using, where it is being used, and for which purpose (if it is being used off-site).
Free Avatars - These are created for personal use.
All conditions above apply, with two additions: The work cannot be used off of dA, and you must credit me in your signature.
Resources - I have base packs, templates and fonts that are available for use. All conditions listed for Emotes apply except that you are allowed to edit these and/or manipulate these.

This SH*T Drives Me Nuts
I spent half an hour going through the popular 8 hours reporting everything the best I could. This is a longstanding problem. To the point that we have to create a group so we can see the actual emoticons submitted to OUR gallery (TheEmoticonGallery (https://www.deviantart.com/theemoticongallery)).
I realize that the site is trying to do some PR or something regarding art theft... but the first place to start, in my opinion, is in the emoticon gallery. Maybe cracking down on the art theft will get rid of a majority of the miscats.
Maybe.
And people wonder why the community is dead half the time.
