produced through mondo, this 6-color screenprint officially celebrates sideshow collectibles's recently-revealed DC license.

it was originally given to a select few (attendees of sideshow's san diego comic con party) and is now finally available to the general public.

this represents the most aggressive screenprint i've designed when it comes to colors and characters. all told, there are 35 heroes and villains from the classic toy line (the core 33 plus send-aways riddler and clark kent) represented.

as a lifelong comic book collector, the project was a challenge and a dream come true. so glad i can finally show it off.

poster specs:
• 6 color screenprint on cougar natural 100# cover
• size: 36" x 24"
• edition: limited, 250

I adore the fact that you include Robin in this - literally the only sidekick. And, btw, just because Batman, Robin, and Green Arrow aren't super-powered doesn't mean they aren't super. I love this! The style is both fun and cool . . .

Cool artwork.
Riddler wasn't a "send away" he was a foreign release only repaint of Green Lantern on a Spanish Language "Super Amigos" card. No new parts. He does make a fun addition to the domestic US line-up. There was also an invented South American hero "El Capitan Rayo", though his card has Super Powers graphic, it says "Super Heroes" instead. He was a recoloring of Superman.
Cancelled 4th series of Super Powers would've included Super Friends' El Dorado, Man-Bat, a 4-armed alien "Quadrex", a gold uniformed  anniversary Superman, among others.

Very nice I like the overall set up of the entire piece, and I really like how you didnt' just make it a simple face off between the big wigs of the heroes and villains. Oh, and real subtle technique sweet stuff.

This is mainly a reference to Kenner and DC's iconic "Super Powers Collection" series. :)
