Cle's application form
The distorted voice in the speaker was not making any sense.
-Multiple people and Pokemon went missing, yet nobody knows about it, noone noticed? - Cle was pretty sure, that this was just a prank call. Afterall, if a person ir mon REALLY goes missing, they would be searched for. By their family, the police, their trainer out of all people... Not to mention if the disappearances were multiple and concentrated.
- KZZZT Talk to... Kzzzt... a certain lady and find out - A rustling noise hung up the call. The weird conversation was immediately followed by a short text, with an address in Lumiose City and a description. Cle had mixed feelings. She would be bothering a stranger with nothing concrete to confront them with. All she could think of is simply uphold a conversation and at least learn something about the source themself.
- Kids these days... - the sour elderly woman was walking her two pet Vulpixes. Both of Alolan breed, with white and well-kept fur. Although the owner herself seemed like a bitter person, Cle could not dislike a person so kind to her companions.
- I would only like to talk about the Jubilee Tournament... I will not take longer than your walk. - The girl insisted. Elderly woman turned around and walked away... but at the same time kept talking. Cle caught up to her and so the walk began.
One of the two pets was curious and energetic, readily exploring the surroundings ahead. The other Vulpix seemed more melancholic, often staying behind and avoiding sunny spots. Somehow, Cle could not shake the feeling that the two Pokemon were flanking her and her interlocutor on purpose.
Soon enough they arrived at a more narrow street, with almost noone in sight. The elderly woman stopped and finished her train of thought on Jubilee thus: - I do hope that the Matriarch doesn’t stray too far from the old ways. All this modernity doesn’t mesh well with Xerneas’ true message.
Great job capturing the city area! It looks nice, I wouldn't mind taking a stroll down there. I envy your finer details, like being able to paint the lamp post and the bricks!
Ah, so Cle spoke to an elderly woman? I would love to know more about how that conversation went! This art on its own is lovely though. So happy to see you're still making watercolors!
This is so gorgeous~ Huge props to your watercolor skills! It's something I've always wanted to learn, so seeing your stuff in the Jubilee gallery makes me really happy~ <33
