What? somebody thinks it is not a Spitfire?
Of course it is a Spitfire. A Spitfire FR Mk. XVIIIe, Serial# TP280, had a military career in UK and India, was in UK civilian registration as G-BTXE, and now has US civilian registration N280TP. Google will find you lots of photos from all angles.

... it just doesn't look like a Battle of Britain Spitfire because it is a much more evolved version.

Solved it. its a Seafire. Odd prop tho. it threw me off.

either way it's a beautiful plane. but not as nice as the P-51 Mustang

though my personal favourites are: the b-17 flying fortress (not as good as the liberator in terms of payload but oh well) and the A-10A thunder bolt aka the Warthog

I don't think its a spitfire or a hurricane, the nose is too boxy
