Nice! What fabric and stuffing did you use? Just wondering! I am NOT going to post duplicates or anything. ^.^

We use fleece to make plushies. I know a bunch of people use felt but felt is scratchy and bad quality. As for stuffing, we just use the regular stuffing you can get at fabric stores like Joann's

yo I don't know if I told you this at the con, but when I saw these they looked SUPER professionally sewn! That's why I kept picking them up and squishing them :3

Haha thanks! We put alot of time and effort into the patterns and sewing so hopefully people can keep them for a long time (foorreevveer~) but the fleece is pretty delicate. At Hypercon last year, these little kids bought one and tossed it around outside like a ball and attempted to return it after destroying it. You buy it, you keep it!

Sorry I couldn't really buy anything at the con-I only made about 18 bucks total, and I was really hoping to save up some money for a bigger light table (mines is 4x5in). Next time, if I go to another con, I bet you guys will make more kickass cute stuff and I'll definitely come by and get something.

Hey don't worry about it C: I'm just glad you were able to profit from that convention, I know that it was hard for alot of people with there being so many vendors. Light table? Like a light box? That's pretty cool, are they expensive? I'm actually thinking of a new plush toy so I'm currently thinking of the pattern XP

you could easily MAKE a lightbox, but if you bought one it's freakin expensive. I wanna buy one.
It wasn't hard because of the vendors--the vendors were so-so and quite a bit of their stuff was overpriced anyways. I was planning on getting a sewing design book for Bruce coz he's interested in this stuff too. I think you can find some pretty damn neat designs online or in books you can buy. I might have a couple designs in my magazines I used to buy...do you like that gothic lolita stuff? I have a bit of those dress design template thingies that I don't know how to read, you can look at them if you want.

I tried making a little photo taking box once with thin fabric to diffuse light and what not and it took forever and ended up only slightly working haha, the lightbox idea sounds interesting, me and jess just use a glass table and a flashlight haha super ghetto.

my friend was really clever--she hooked up a lightbulb under a giant panel of class that was laid on top of a briefcase--it was a really great huge lightbox. However, my drawings are really whack and wonky if I don't draw on a tilt, so I'd need a lightbox that can tilt easily or lay on my drafting board.

That is really smart especially if you have a light you can switch on and off. . . holding the flashlight can be tiresome and annoying haha.

We've been making these plushies since 08 ^__^; Our DA is new because we changed names to something easier for customers remember.

I'm sure alot of people have had similar ideas, mochi's a pretty popular snack. Goodluck with sewing~ practice makes perfect C:
