Problem nostalgiatards, :icontrollfaceplz:

Okay I had to get this off my chest, am I the only one who is tried of finding comments like "Music today sucks" or "I miss the 80's and 90's cartoons and current cartoons sucks" or some shit like that and don't get me started on rants on Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Disney.

In conclusion, Nostalgiatards or Nostalgia fanboys are annoying.

Nostalgiatards are such attention whores. There are plenty of 90s stuff that isn't that nostalgic.

It really pisses me off when people claim that puppet monsters from the 1980s are more realistic than cgi monsters from now. Puppet monsters I've seen move too much like robots

The 90s puppet monsters were better, so are today's CGI monsters. In the 90s, the creation of Henson Performance Control System led the animatronic puppets to get more expressive because it allowed the puppeteers to program and record their performances and playback them anytime they wanted. It also reduced the number of puppeteers required to operate a single animatronic character, thus alowing just one puppeteer to control the entire face and make the animatronic performance more flexible. As for today's CGI monsters, it took a combination of on-set performances and on-set puppets to do CG right. The people who create the textures for the digital characters are also experienced on practical effects. For example, Weta Workshop originally made a Gollum puppet for the Lord of the Rings trilogy. But, when Weta Digital animated the character in full-blown CGI, the CG animators worked closely with the practical effects artists because the former figured that the latter knew what texture should look like. And they did it! Gollum was fan-f*cking-tastic! It wasn't just all computer programmers that put a lot of effort into such a strong CG character, it was a variety of different artists who all knew how to do different illusions to create the perfect one.

Story of my life! -_-
I understand people who like classic movies, but don't giving anything new a chance is simply bad! -_-

Some people don't even know the real definition of the word "Nostalgiatard". Many say "You don't like Adventure Time or Regular Show! You're a Nuh-Stal-Ja-Tard!" The definition is someone who doesn't give anything modern a decent chance because they're too stuck in the past.

Isn't that their right? I mean, does it really call for name-calling? I mean, I'm a '90s kid, and I don't deny that there have been plenty of good shows that have come out from 2000 to now (Avatar, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Teen Titans, the new MLP series, etc.). However, I would, even if calling people "'tards" of any kind was productive, do you even think that people who won't give something a chance ONLY because it's new even make up a small percentage of any given group?

Exactly. Maybe a few people are TOO nostalgic.

Do you think they'd be satisfied if Nintendo made their own TV channel?
