Oni Arm-Wrestling

In the days of the distant past in Meiyoru, the oni were overwhelming forces of nature. Amongst the known ones of enduring popularity, were two oni who enjoyed passing the time by battling against each other, attacks clashing and striking with every ounce of their might. Such was their battles, that gale-force winds surged over the land, and branched bolts of lightning filled the sky. It is fervently believed that, for these two oni, their battles against each other was the principal way by which they showed how strong, staunch and steadfast of brothers they were, wanting and pushing each other to grow ever stronger.

Presently, in these days of mortals and adventures, the bond these two oni brothers shared, was what many oni currently living hope to aspire to in their own friendships and relationships. The closest known instance in an emulation of such a relationship, was shared by Jokury and Watsunek. When they feel the need to test each other's strength or settle a difference, while being civil and respectful of the people around them, Jokury and Watsunek challenge each other to an arm-wrestling match. But such is their phenomenal strength, and how evenly matched they are in physical might, that the loser in their arm-wrestling matches, almost every time they have one...

...is the sad little table upon which the oni duo rest their beefy arms. Snapping apart and breaking inadvertently underneath their elbows.
