The Princess and the Dragon
THE PRINCESS AND THE DRAGON
By John Paul Dodds
Sir Randal approached the dragon's lair carefully, slowing his charger, Lightning, to a walk. Under his helm he winced at the loud clack of it's shod hooves on the stones of the pass, hoping the beast within would not hear his approach.
He remembered the scene at court; the girl's father cut a pitiful figure as he begged for some knight to rescue his daughter from the hideous dragon that had stolen her away.
A noise brought him back to the present with a bump. The area was barren and lifeless, leading to a cave cut deep into the mountain. And just ahead of the cave mouth a stake was forced into the ground, tied to which was the girl; a voluptuous blonde, still in her courtly gown. The silk from the habit she wore flapping in the wind like a banner.
She spotted Sir Randal's approach and began to struggle with her bonds, "Sir Knight, Sir Knight...", she called out. Under cover of his hel

The Crying Dragon
A powerful dragon is sad.
Sad because she is alone with
no one to love.
No one to be with.
No one to share her life with.
With no one to love her.
So she will cry until there is someone
to love her.
Spyro TFOnce in the late 90s there was a kid named Justin who was very obsessed with one thing, Spyro the dragon! All he ever brung up was how awesome he was, how cool he was, how he could beat Crash Bandicoot in his tracks even though it seemed flatly impossible. Justin liked Spyro so much his fantasy was to be just like him. His parents told him how unhealthy it was to be so obsessed and playing nothing but Spyro 1 and 2 all day until bed time after doing his homework. Soon he was imaging himself in the games with the purple dragon fighting Gnasty Gnorc and Ripto even though they were already dead-- at least to him. Justin was a good game player but he couldnt get to the all the skill points needed to find out the truth... They weren't dead. He got out of the real world and into his head very often. A year later, Justin got Spyro 3. The boy talked about it many times and imagined fighting the sorceress, an evil villian from the game.&
Outgrowing the Convention
It was a fairly busy afternoon at the Westin hotel. Hundreds upon thousands of people had turned up for this year’s Anthrocon, and as a result, there were little to no rooms to spare for people who weren’t part of the event. Thankfully for two of the people involved, they had a room sorted.
Phil and his friend Dave had spent most of the morning checking out some of the artist events and other events at the convention, deciding to take a break for lunch. The two of them had met through the website Furaffinity, under the names of HG3300 and Rooth, and had struck up a friendship fairly quickly. It was due to this that they were able to arrange travel plans to the convention, as well as being able to share a room together.
“Well, so far so good!” Phil said as he sat down in the hotel lobby, looking over some of the things he had bought so far. “I haven’t even made a large enough dent in my wallet yet, how about you?”
“I’d say I&

In was the morning of Christmas Eve, and Tad wasn't happy. This was going to be his first Christmas as an orphan. Ever since that car crash that killed his parents, he'd been miserable. Even worse, the owner of the orphanage HATED Christmas. If she saw anything related to Christmas, she would confiscate it and throw it into the furnace in the basement. "Tad!" yelled the orphanage owner, "Go get the mail!" Tad sighed, grabbed his coat, and walked outside into the snow. He walked to the mailbox and grabbed the mail. More letters to the orphanage owner from her boyfriend. Tad always hid one of the letters to read to his friends because these things always had some funny things. Then, his hand felt a small box. Tad pulled it out of the mailbox and looked at it. It was a small present. Tad sighed. It was probably a lame gift from the orphanage owner's boyfriend. He looked at the tag. He couldn't believe what he was reading! It was addressed to him! It read....
through hell and back againOkay so just because I don't want to bore you or lie to you people, let me get one thing straight. I DID NOT SPEND SIX MONTHS IN THE ARIZONA DESERT it just felt like six months. What the real problem was school registrations after I had to move. but I’ll get to that later, right now what you need to know is that about a week of wandering in blistering heat and scorching sands makes you feel like the world is trying to kill you. And it doesn't help that I have a nice thick fur coat on... now I know what you may be thinking, “oh a coat? Well just take it off.” Well why don't you try taking off your skin hmm? Yes, that’s right; this ‘fur coat’ is my fur. And I am actually a werewolf, don't believe me? Just ask Saria, she’s also one, and sweating just as much as I am in this blistering heat... oh, how did we get here? Read the first one in this series and go from there. Now how we got out of there was all thanks to my cousin James. No he isn't a we

Ahh, the fun center in Utah, not the classic fun center or boondocks, but the one with go-carts, bumper-boats, mini-golf, and of course laser-tag, not a personal favorite of all hyphenated entertainment choices, but it is certainly one that I do enjoy. But more importantly, one my younger brother absolutely adored. It was July 16th, Cole’s birthday, and once again he was begging my mother, Cindy, to sign the two of us up for a game.
“Puleeeeeeeeeeeese, I don’t care how long it is I just wanna play some lazer tag oh please oh please oh pretty pleassssssssse” as usual, when he begs, it just sounds like one big long sentence, so it gets hard to understand him. But the wait for the game was six hours long, and mom didn’t like to wait that long for things, and neither do I. now don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t like laser tag, it’s just that if I play games like that, I get very competitive.

TSR: Bovine Bonding Part 6 FINALE (Cow TF)Ever since Raven and Jeremiah’s night at the broken fence, a few changes happened at the farm. The shattered wood was repaired, a few of the cows were sold off to other farmers, and Randall kept a closer eye on the animals before he went to bed for the night.
The cattle had no idea why the farmer was acting differently lately. When any of them brought the topic up to Raven, she pretended she had hearing problems or tried to change the subject immediately. Some also noticed that she was eating more grass and hay than usual and would usually be the last one to leave the pasture when it was time for milking or to head in for the night.
Their questions were eventually answered over a month later. During the middle of their daily grazing, Randall came to the gate and pulled Raven aside with a halter. As the two were gone for an hour, the ladies gossiped about whether she was being sold like their friends or if she was coming down with something. Chelsea was worried about her friend, b
TSR: Bovine Bonding Part 5 (Cow TF)After being held on a tight leash by Randall in the last few months (both figuratively and literally), Raven and was excited to be reunited with the other cows on the farm. A few weeks after winning the blue ribbon, she and Chelsea were led by Randall to rejoin the herd in their usual grazing spot.
Randall closed the gate behind the two champions and started to talk to someone on his cell phone. Raven had a hard time making out who he was talking to and what he was saying, but that didn’t matter at the moment.
Raven: Wassup girls, guess who’s back?
Most of the other cattle that were munching on grass and lying down all turned around towards the two returning ruminants.
Anna: Well I’ll be, Chelsea and Raven! I almost didn’t recognize you girls for a sec without your weird head fur…
Raven: Yeah, just a little something for competition, which we killed by the way!
Raven paused for a sec expecting applause, but then remembered that her pee
TSR: Bovine Bonding Part 4 (Cow TF)For the next couple of months, Randall and his ranch hand Ted spent an extra amount of time monitoring Raven and Chelsea to prepare them for the respective shows. Tanya forged false documents for the two large ladies containing false histories of when they were born so that they could legitimately compete and so Randall could answer judge questions without hesitation.
Randall gave the two very special treatment for the judging. Their fur was clipped, their hooves were trimmed, the feed felt cleaner than it was before, and they were washed and shampooed more than ever. It was like every day was going to the cow salon for them.
But the two did their fair share of work. Randall and Ted frequently put their snouts in halters and walked them around in a small pen to prepare for the judging. It doesn’t sound like much work, but to Raven, it was annoying being frequently talked down to when she could understand most of what they were saying. There were points where it felt like some of
TSR: Bovine Bonding Part 3 (Cow TF)A few days after Raven and Chelsea’s discussion, Raven’s mother, Tanya, visited the farm. After the two started living there, Tanya visited Raven every couple of weeks to spend time with her to make the transition slightly easier for her daughter. Even if Raven couldn’t directly speak to her mother, Tanya could tell when she needed to be there for her.
Even though parents tend to be excited after seeing their children again after being gone months apart, that was rarely the case for Tanya’s visits. She had to tell Raven every time that they weren’t any closer to finding a reversal spell to change them back. The spell book that turned Raven and Chelsea into cows in the first place was extremely rare throughout the world, and the few owners that had it secluded themselves from society.
The only progress made during their findings was uncovering a spell that allows the user to talk to animals. Unfortunately, it only lasted for a couple of hours and could only
Fitbit (Hulk TF)Everybody told Garrett not to do it, because it wouldn’t get anywhere or it would end up some way he wouldn't like. Now look at him. He’s a college sophomore sports science major now interning at one of the biggest fitness companies out there: Fitbit. He was getting paid too.
He grinned as he walked into the building, rocking that signature limited edition green Fitbit on his wrist. He scanned the ID hanging from his neck and was granted entry into the business and labs section of the building.
On his desk was a new assignment. Unlike other internships, where the job is reduced to just getting coffee, Garrett got the opportunity to legitimately do something new everyday, with the ability to help the company.
As he picked up the packet, the employee he was partnered with to help walked up to him. “Garrett!” he enthusiastically greeted. “How are you?”
“Good, Mr. Hunt,” Garrett replied. “What's in the file today?”
Ghost Girl's Beginning In a town called Chareden, there lived a teen girl named Miriam Cassman. In her early childhood, Miriam contracted a high fever and came close to death. Ever since that close call, Miriam Cassman was able to see and speak to ghosts. She really liked this ability. Ghosts understood her better than most of her fellow mortals, and Miriam realized that a majority of ghosts aren’t scary at all, or at least don’t intend to be. Sure, certain ghosts are troublemakers. But then again, so are some mortals.
What Miriam was particularly glad about was that she met Keith Tuck, her second cousin who died in the Vietnam War. They had a very tight bond, and Keith gave Miriam comfort, support, and encouragement countless times.
One day after she got her license and a car, Miriam drove to the Chareden Cemetery to take a walk. She parked close to the gate, then began her stroll. Before long, Miriam found a headstone with a strange, teal-colored substa
Ghost Girl and the Evil Fairy It was a beautiful day in the town of Chareden. Miriam Cassman was at the beach in the local Red Oak State Park. Not only was she swimming, but Miriam was also chatting and having a picnic with Bethany Bergman. Bethany was one of Miriam’s closest mortal friends. She was always an excellent listener, very understanding, and supportive. Bethany even knew of Miriam’s ability to see and speak to ghosts, and was completely okay with it, and thought it was neat. Unlike a certain couple of other “well-meaning” people, Bertha Sellers and Blake Stevens, whom jumped to conclusions and thought Miriam was schizophrenic. Luckily, a few other supporters, including Bethany Bergman, saw no problem with this and realized it was great for her.
When the two were getting ready to leave, Miriam began to sense a dark, sinister presence nearby. While Bethany was loading her things in her car, Miriam went invis

What if your greatest wish, to be your favorite pokemon, came true? Would you be scared at first? Maybe confused? Well, that’s exactly how I felt when I was transformed. What? Never seen a talking Riolu before? Well, I wasn’t always a Riolu. Hold on, I’m getting ahead of myself. My name’s Ryan, and this is my story.
I was once a twelve year old boy. I was the only survivor of a car crash that had killed my parents. The only living relatives I had were my aunt, uncle, and snobby cousin. The only place they gave me to sleep was the closet under the stairs. What, does that sound familiar to you or something? Anyway, they did decide to take me in, but only for me to be their personal slave. All those terrible chores, such as cleaning the toilet, cleaning the ENTIRE house from top to bottom, and even chasing the family of raccoons that nested in our chimney. My life was miserable, and it wasn’t getting any better. However, my entire life changed that f

The Lavaridge Fire Type Pokemon Preservation Area, otherwise known as the Lavaridge Reserve. Located near an inactive volcano, It is the fifth largest pokemon preserve in the World, full of all types of healthy and happy fire-type pokemon. While these Fire Types aren’t welcome to most humans, they do trust a select few.
Three of these select few are Fire Type Pokemon Professors, Jonathan and Andrea Mage, and their 8-year-old daughter, Kiara. Their daily routine consists of going out into the field and studying the life and behavior of these fire-types, while Kiara would play with a few of the young Pokemon. One specimen they had taken most interest in was an extremely rare Ninetails. Rare because this was a Shiny Ninetails. Lately, however, their research has become a huge distraction from their daughter.
In time, she began to feel lonely and unloved, with only her Pokemon friends t
How To Understand Introverted PeopleIt may seem at times I have
Little to offer when it comes
To the art of conversing,
Opting to remain in the shadows
Rather than to put myself
Directly in the centre like most.
Often any type of social situation
Is like a conflict zone in my eyes;
The amount of loud noises bubbling
From the throats of others, it's like
The consistent beat of a war drum.
As for any arguments, I feel as if
I'm caught in the firing line, the
Persistent sense of unease underling
The coat of my stomach triggers me
To turn tail and run for cover.
On the facade I'm a mere lone wolf,
Aloof, wanting nothing more than the

Afraid of others judging me for the

All I hope is to be welcomed, to be
