DnD Map: The Rescue by Stormcrow135 DnD Map: The Rescue by Stormcrow135
A mighty dwarven city was attacked after tremors were heard deep within the walls one day. The suspicious dwarves summoned the guard and the civilians evacuated. After waiting several anxious hours, the wall came down with a crash and the Formians poured forth on the attack.

The fighting was brutal and savage, but the dwarven line held firm, repulsing the formian horde in good order. It was when hope was bright and victory near when terror took hold of the defenders. The dwarven king was surrounded on all sides and his bodyguard cut down to man, and he was captured.

Dragged back into the formian tunnels, when last seen he was alive, but captive. After several attempts to counter attack, the dwarves have finally summoned outside aid to try to get there king back.

For DnD:
Lead your party into the Formian tunnels and break out the captured Dwarven king. Do it fast however, for such was the ferocity of the Formian assault that the Dwarves believe they no longer have the numbers to repulse so great an attack. In several hours, the tunnels will be sealed with magic and explosives, will you have enough time to penetrate a tunnel complex, break out the king, and escape alive? You tell me...
