Steam at Bishop's Lydeard
who really wanted to see me have a go at my fave loco S&DJR 7F no. 53808 "88", who is a survivor of the old Somerset and Dorset Railway and one of only 2 7Fs left in the world. Her home is my local railway, the West Somerset Railway. The station in the drawing is Bishop's Lydeard, which is my end of the line. The real one is currently sporting black works livery, but I was always very fond of her SDJR Prussian Blue and "88" number.

Still keep meaning to get round to the West Somerset line. Still suprised I haven't yet given my sister lives and works right beside at Blue Anchor! XD
sadly its been closed since Jan. the outbreak happened the day they were due to reopen for the season 
theyve just had 2 weekends of Minehead station being open, but its still unlikely that the line will be properly back open for a while, but I do hope you get to see it when things go back to normal. Im very attached to it.
Good to hear the Minehead shop is back open. Must admit I was very envious of the book display when I was last in there two years back. Whoever stocks it clearly knows there stuff and local interests.
You'd be surprised how many stockists near me, claiming to have only titles relating to local lines (Ambergate - Buxton, Duffield branch, Leek & Manifold, Ashover Light Railway, Cromford & High Peak (Very much in the Midland/LMS stamping ground!) only have titles relating to the loco works at Doncaster and the history of the LNER. XD
