'Veronica' ~ 'Maker of Renée De'Sang'👄🦇🩸🌕

Veronica was born in 200 A.D. (thirty five years after the dreaded Antonine Plague of 165 A.D. to around 189 A.D.) in the Germanic tribes of Marcomanni and Quadi, in the then proposed province of Marcomannia, by the Roman Empire under the reign of Marcus Aurelius between 174 AD and 180 AD. (today known as Bratislavia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, which was then known as Moravia). Veronica became a vampire in 230 A.D., after being bitten by a powerful vampire, Theodosia of Athens.

Veronica is a fourth generation vampire introduced into the Vampire order, an order that was created by the Egyptian Princess-Queen (and tomb raider on the side, unknown to others), Setibhor. Veronica becomes a vampire, and receives the same gift of immortality from Theodosia. Veronica agrees to the proposal made by Theodosia. Theodosia, trains Veronica in politics, warfare, fighting, and education. Theodosia is killed in 600 A.D. by Setibhor. Veronica is Setibhor's new threat, who knows full well, that Veronica will seek revenge for the loss of Theodosia, of whom she loved so dearly.

Note: Veronica is also the very vampire who brings about our main character of this story, the one and only, Vampire Baroness, Lady Renée De'Sang. Renée became a vampire in the year 1226 in France (at the age of twenty seven), in the same manner of which was passed down upon Veronica herself.

Before then, Veronica was a professional cat burglar for hire, who was rather intelligent through Roman teachings, and was very beautiful with blue eyes and blonde hair, which she soon dyes jet black, like the black of Crows feathers. This was done after the death, in remembrance and honour of her creator, Theodosia.

She was a professional for hire, and at a high price for the risk of each job. For many years she burgled jewels, to secret documents and other valuable resources. Due to a broken arrangement with a number of clients, where they believed she didn't need to be paid, and should serve the needs of the province with honour, not payment. Veronica then realised over time that she has been stealing from the wrong people. She realised the people she was hired for were using her skill to sustain their wealth, and with no concern for the suffering of the people who found it extremely hard to stay afloat with the constant demands and theft of their lands, sometimes their daughters to become whores for the pleasure of sleazy, Roman men, and their sons for gladiators to amuse the  people of Rome with the profit of their deaths.

Unfortunately, Veronica is powerless to stop the atrocities, even though her will is strong. The power of the government is far more superior, much more wealth for an army and military requirements, and the legal authority to use the laws as they see fit.

Then, on the eve of 229 A.D., that was all about to change, and the curse of Rome will eventually be extinguished into history. The vampire, Veronica, would become the punishment of ruthless and cruel men for what terrible brutality and humiliation Rome placed upon the people she loved so dearly. And, are the rightful custodians of these lands, not Rome.

Point:Minus the characters used for this short story and their set dates, the dates stated at the beginning of this story, of which my fictional characters are placed in (the people/tribes, Marcus Aurelius, the Antonine Plague of 165 A.D., empires and nations, and so on), are based on fact. I simply placed them in the time frame I wanted them set in, and somehow, try not to effect the timeline of actual history I used for the setting of my characters and story, 'Vampire Baroness and The Queen of Blood'.👄🦇👑🩸
