This is a drawing I did with black pen today when we went down to Hoskins Memorial Uniting Church in Lithgow (N.S.W.). A seminar on the transition stages for teenagers, and what our opinions were on the matter. After that, everyone was participating in making their own dream catcher. That is definitely not for me, lol. Too fiddly for my liking; so instead (for about an hour or so), I decided to draw this tree, which was outside at the back of the church in the garden. The whole idea for this drawing is based on the same principle for what we were discussing earlier in the day; teenagers are like the seasons and trees, they are constantly growing, and with growth comes change. It may start out as a beautiful young tree, and become something completely ugly. Or, it may become a beautifully grown tree. That is what I saw in this drawing, that constant change over time. What becomes of it in the end depends on the tree; how we look at it, as we often do with our own children, depends on us as parents also. So yeah; this tree represents the change in their growth, and what becomes of themselves at the end of their transitions of that growth.🌳👦👨🦰
A lot more easier this was for me, I'll leave the making of dream catchers to the teenagers, lol.😬😉 Hope you like it.🥰😇
