Hello there good folks, here's my finished Rahu final, 'The Same As Me!'. I used pen, permanent marker, and copic markers on paper (21-07-2022).✍️🖊✒️😎...And here's the story to the drawing.📓✍️ Hope you like it beautiful peoplzzz.🥰💖
'The moon is full, the air is still, and not a sound but the sound of the earth crunching beneath Rahu's feet. Rahu got a bit muddy when he went to the marsh lands, and he feels like a good bathing session at his favourite water hole in the dark night forest.🌕
The forest is so quiet; no humans live anywhere near it, or the marshes for that matter. All Rahu can hear as he enters the forest, is the distant hooting of owls in the trees ahead; as he approaches a massive rock on the edge of his water hole. Then, a noise, a splashing sound coming from the water hole ahead. Rahu sneaks up behind the massive rock to take a look at what is in the water hole; he pokes his head out to see what it is, all he can see is a silhouette figure standing at the other end of the water hole, with the big, bright moon behind it and the trees. Along with two owls sitting up in the trees watching the situation in the water hole below them.🦉🦉
Rahu turns to look behind him, making sure there isn't anyone, or anything else, behind him. Making sure it isn't a trap by humans. He then turns back to the mysterious figure in the water, still trying to figure out who, or what, it is. The figure slowly turns in Rahu's direction, but doesn't notice Rahu at this point. The figure appears to be washing its hair and body, in the comfort of the moonlight, and the peaceful silence of the dark forest.🌕😧👀
Rahu takes a step forward from behind the massive rock; a sudden snap comes from beneath his foot, startling the figure in the water hole, creating a sudden splash in the water. The figure snaps its head in Rahu's direction; Rahu slips quickly behind the rock in shock, wondering if he had been seen. Then, a loud voice comes from the figure, “Who's there!” Rahu is stunned; not only does it talk, but with a female voice also. That's not what he is surprised about, he now realises it is another ogre, he realises that he is not alone, and not the only ogre after all. Rahu gazes in wonderment into the dark forest from behind the rock. “I thought I was the only ogre left after all this time”, he thinks to himself. “She is the same as me, another ogre, the same as me”. “Who's there, I know someone's there!”, shouts the female ogre.🌕👀😧
Rahu hears movement coming toward him in the water. “I'm...very dangerous, you know!” Who's there, I say!”, says the female ogre, in a frightened, and anxious voice. As she gets closer, Rahu slowly sneaks away from the water hole before she can see him; still in shock that he is not the only one of his kind, and makes a dash out of the forest. “She is the same as me!” is the only thought going through Rahu's head. “Exactly the same as me...I never knew, after all this time”.😧😲💖
