aka 'King in Solitude'👑🖤
He, the King, stares at his castle floor, contemplating the wrongs he left behind, and the empty feeling of being in solitude.
When crowned King, his ambitions were to become the most powerful King of the realm, the most victorious, and most feared to all who fought against him.
For his blind ambitions, he received what he sort. Not only from his enemies, but his people, his court, and his armies also.
A King who forgot his purpose and reason. A King who forgot his duty and honour. A King, of whom, his own people and kingdom feared so, chose to leave him in his wanted, wicked realm.
A King who lost their loyalty.
A King who lost their trust.
A King who lost their hope.
A King who lost their love.
A King, for the ambitions of power and fear, is now a King, alone, who dwells in the shadows of his own castle.
A King that may as well be dead. A King who forgot his main duty for the people and kingdom. The King believed who thought he could do what he wanted to do.
Instead, of being the King he was meant to be. A King, that was meant to be, for what the people needed him to be.
Indeed, blind ambition did mislead him. He...Himself...King.🖤👑⚔️
An ink drawing and short story I came up with at work when on night shift while doing 12 hours shifts for Traffic Control out on a very remote site in the middle of nowhere in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales.🚦🚧🦺✋
As before, a fun, and time consuming way to stay awake, and have fun when it gets real quiet with no traffic for about 5 to 6 hours or so.🥱🚦😴 Come up with many drawing concepts when you're on night shift, and really stoked the way this ink drawing came out in the end.😁😉
ANYWHOOO...I did this ink drawing with black pen, and black permanent marker on paper (06/05/2024 to 10/05/2024).✍️🖊✒️
