Description
Now that I have completed the moon, zombies, & scare crow, I now start to draw my main character of the drawing. I start with my 0.2mm pen, then fill in the vast black areas, & then add lighter tones with my copic markers (black markers with two shades with the copic markers). As you can see, by using this technique, you will give your art so much depth (see into the picture, does'nt l...ook flat like comic book formatting). I have more to draw before it is finished. More work to be done on my main character. As you can see, I have changed the character's feather head wear to a live bat on her head, this was Sandys idea. I actually prefer this concept, suits the mood for the theme of the drawing. I've also added an owl to the scare crow, just to add a little more creepy to it. I have to finish the witch on the left, as well as the zombie coming out of his grave, then the Jacker lanterns in the front. Once I've completed the black & white ink work, I will then scan it, get a print/copy of it, then colour the whole thing in. For all you horror fan out there, I used different movies for each of my characters. Well, the mayor for the main character, but, I used the original Halloween movie cover image for the light side of the moon, & an images from the fourth Halloween movie for the dark side. I used the zombies from the original movie "The Fog", from the opening scene. The witch is from a figurine that I have at home, & the scare crow I saw on the net (something to do with a character called Pumkin Head). The Jacker lanterns are from the Halloween festival the year before. Hope you enjoy my works in progress, & look forward to showing you the rest soon. Take care guys & girls (& other genders)...
