This is another final approach to some of my previous submissions, by adjusting the brightness on my scanner to give my image it's original depth & tones. Previous scans had lost that depth & tone, so this is a final result for them.
Hope you all like them, I do!
Here's a link yo the original post,-[link]
Finally got my Frazetta study completed. Took a bit of time, but, found it all worth while in the end. From a pencil sketch, to this, & I have to say that I am content with the end result. I hope you all enjoy my Frazetta study, (would love to hear your opinions on this piece..) as much as I did drawing it.
Long live Frank Frazetta!
A3 paper.
Black pen & indian ink.
Copic markers.
Smoke & a coffee, with a wing & a prayer!!!
Would love to hear your opinion on these changes, weather or not I should stick to the changes, or go with the original forms of posting, I prefer the new versions.

Thank you very much my dear, this was a great study for depth & colour:painter:. He's tricky with his little brush flecks of odd bod colours, things like flecks of blue/green in brown/greyish areas of a concept. I wish I got stuck into this along time ago, a slight touch of too little too late.

Well, I am not afraid to admit that I am quite jealous of your talent. I grew up on Royo, Boris, and Frank and always wanted to be as good as them or even close to :) my journey is a long one!

It's been a long road to where I'm at today, trust me, still got a long way to go:work:. Getting set to painting with oils, don't know why, but they scare me a little:fear:

Cool! You'll have to let me know how your first time with the oils is like :)

I've only ever done 1 oil painting, but with only 3 colours. The painting is called,"The Undertaker", did it way back in 1996:jawdrop:[link]

wow, exceptional work, FRAZETTA would be proud! on a side note, after our last talk i ordered set 1 and 2 of FRAZETTAs cards off ebay, cant wait for them to show up

That's awesome. I only ended up with one card after they were stolen. The Death Dealer vs the Alligator painting. I have about 25 of his full sized prints (have most of them on the walls in frames), & taking great care of those I tell ya!:threaten:

Thank you very much. It is a study of his original work "Swamp Demon", from his 1st artbook,"The Fantastic Art of Frank Frazetta". Love his artwork, love doing studies of his work (great practice for light, depth, & colouring), & a huge fan of the man's work since 1980!:painter:

i completely agree, i am going to do a frazetta study after i complete my portrait study. if you would be so kind as to give me some feedback on my portraits it would be most helpful.
