Dancing in the Moonlight

The concept I have drawn is from a French silent film 'Les Vampires' Episode II ~ 'The Ring That Kills' (1915) and the dancing Vampire is Marfa Koutiloff - The actress performing the Vampire dance is Stacia Napierkowska, a French actress, dancer, and director who worked during the silent film era. She was in 86 films from 1908 to 1926. This was originally a practice drawing on a scrap piece of paper, you could see the ink from a previous drawing that came through the paper. While I was drawing it, I could see a concept already there for me to draw. It just slapped me across the face, and I could hear that song in my head, 'Do you see what I see?', so what I saw, I went with it. The title I used is from a 'Thin Lizzy' song, 'Dancing in the Moonlight', from their 'Bad Reputation' album 1977. The song suited what I had in mind and came up with, I thought. Just so you know, the full title for this drawing is, 'Dancing in the Moonlight ~ It's Caught Me in its Spotlight'.
