Submission Guidelines

The guidelines are simple.

Please be sure to submit your work to the appropriate folder. Stock Images is for stock images, Textures is for textures and so on. If you accidentally submit an image to the wrong folder, it will be moved to the appropriate one as soon as possible.

Guidelines for Stock Images:

Size must be a MINIMUM of 600x600 pixels (excluding vintage portraits that are relatively small and of low quality)

No heavy distortion due to blur/noise/grain (this rule is case-by-case depending on the usability of the image in question.)

No webcams or cell phone images

No sexually explicit imagery

MySpaceFace-style "portraits" will not be accepted*.

A Word On Submissions

It's come to my attention, thanks to our wonderful moderator, LordIlpilazzo, that some members have been severely abusing the lack of a formalized limit on submissions to our gallery. The reasons we don't want members dumping their ENTIRE stock galleries into the group are simple. 1) The more submissions in our gallery, the less exposure each piece will get. Your work is more likely to be noticed when it's not lost among a gazillion other images. 2) We don't want to flood our members' devWatches with submissions. People actually have been known to leave groups for that.

So I've officially placed a 5 submission per week limitation on the gallery, effective as of 2pm EDT today.
