Mom's Contest--slight update/clarificationMOM'S CONTEST
Update: Thank you to everyone who has boosted my contest! you are all awesome. And thank you to those who have expressed interest! I can't wait to see what you come up with. Just a note--it we do indeed get Eclipse, er, foisted upon us, I might be slow in getting things handled, so keep that in mind. That's planned for May 20th, as things stand now.
I still plan to put the thumbnails of all entrants on the journal as I get them with a special feature of the winners at the end. (This is assuming this is still possible with eclipse.) So, I hope you all have been inspired to create something, or at least to pass the time while stuck at home. Once I get the first entry, I will make a new journal.
*Also clarified some things in the special prizes.

They can have horses, other animals, humans, backgrounds, resources, textures, etc. There are some that are not allowed to be used for Nordanners, the ones I know will be marked as such. If you find that one is not marked 'not allowed for Nordanners' and you find that it is in their rules, please let me know so I can update it. If you know of any stock accounts or pages, that allow others to use and its not listed here, please share and I will add them. I believe it would help others as well. Thank you! Whilst everyone is free to join the group, submission limits are in place at 5 per day to each category/folder to prevent everyone's inboxes being overwhelmed.

With this in mind please make sure you are submitting the correct stock to the correct folder! :)

Stock and Resources: Policy ClarificationThe Stock and Resources community is an integral part of deviantART, both for having an active community of its own as well as providing high quality stock to all deviants.
As this community has grown so much over the years, so has the amount of invalid stock and resources that have been provided by some deviants. The Stock and Resources community feels like this reflects negatively on them, the volunteers have a hard time trying to teach people about valid stock and how to use it correctly, and it gives an appearance that deviantART Staff tolerate so-called “art theft” or copyright infringement.
In this article our aim is to reinforce our policies regarding stock and stock use and clear up some misconceptions.

Please remember that when you are submitting your work to us to choose the correct gallery folder, as it helps us massively when approving submissions. The only time your work will be declined is for A) not submitting stock backgrounds (please no people, animals or objects), or B) submitting to the incorrect gallery folder. Please do not submit to Stock News, Contests and Journals UNLESS you are submitting an actual journal, news article or contest journal. Anything that isn't one of these items IE stock images will be declined and you will need to resubmit your work to the correct folder.
