~Commission for Operation Reiki~
When her eyes were open
And her body enveloped in flames
Her name was cursed and damned
But when it was too late
For her now beautified life
She was dubbed innocent
But even the proclamation of innocence
Cannot bring ashes back to life
Now a martyr,
Seen in countless lights
It's hard not to wonder
How different the tides of history would be
If she were pronounced innocent
While she still drew breath
But now all there is are memories
Looking back on a life ended so young
The tides of battle carried her into history
And the tragic fires of judgment
Extinguished her ephemeral life
