"There was a dangerous light in his eyes last night. He said he saw things. He said he was somehow capturing scenes yet to pass. Dream cameras... somehow filming dreams....
Some how, in his dreams he claims prophetic visions.....Claimed he saw the apocolypse. These were the images he left behind, with notes-... i'm not sure i should let these be seen,
but he was emphatic... claims he needed to face demons, but that there was more. When, and if he returns...."
- my wife, after my first voyage.

I disagree with leesers... this is scary, because it depicts real people. The humans in this pic are unpleasant to look at. I can hear some advocate of theirs making stupid explanations for their wacky beliefs, and associate them with nutters like the National Vanguard. (shudder) I really don't like the look of the male priest leading them.
Or, to put the obligatory lovecraft spin, it could be an illustration of the Fungus "Nyarlathotep" or "Ex Oblivione" where Nyarlathotep comes from a dark and rural setting, attracts a rapidly growing cult, and the world is destroyed. This would be one of his marches... but where are the beasts?
hehehe... the woman nearest to the foreground looks exactly like my chemistry teacher...scary bitch.
So Daniel...where did you get this picture?

as i was leaving our destroyed appartment, on the final day, a gathering of al the local churches.. all denominations walked up and down each street. offering prayers, consolation, and support, in any way they could... and after we lost everything we had in that flood....seeing these people , who lost homes, and so much....... just walking dozens of miles.... thier banners turning brown because of the dust that was in the air from the drying mud........ was an incredibly moving moment in time.... we lost so much..... and i thought i lost my fiance at the time...... and standing there.. preparing to leave.. seeing this procession.. moving with many different prayers being spoken.... felt like the end of the world.
For me, and my fiance' and our best friends, last september..... it was.

I REALLY like this series. :3 It's something so different for you, but in a good way. For once, these works don't strike fear into me... BUT that's a really good thing. I mean, if everything you did was absolutely scary, there'd be no variety or anything... but these prove that you can do wonderful works in different areas as well. :3 Keep these up, they really are a treat. :3
