the Only couple - part 1

did i mention im weak for saffron masala and coco pommel even though theyre side characters that appear in no more than like 5 episodes in total? yeah. i love that shit.

ANYWAYS

here we have them during their pregnancies and also with the resulting children....what a concept LOL

1. Saffron Masala seemed to be the only one who didn't know she was pregnant during her 9 months of baby carrying. She would still get up go to the restaurant, order everyone around and cook up a storm. Coco Pommel found this extremely distressing as not only was Masala being her usual self, she was almost being outright ignorant of the fact that she was even pregnant. She would beg her to stay home from work or even try to sneak in the restaurant, poorly hidden behind a comically large newspaper to try and keep an eye on her wife. But Masala simply said, "If I have something cookin' in the oven, I might as well be cookin in the kitchen." She was a champ for sure and had an au natural childbirth, no painkillers or nothing, just old fashioned screaming and kissing her blood covered baby.

2. Coco Pommel on the other hand....her pregnancy was terrible. Horrible. She was sick from start to finish, bedridden and weak. They were so afraid that they would miscarry, and doctors suggested an abortion, but seeing how Masala worked her way through her pregnancy, Coco was inspired to do her best and....perhaps felt like she herself was just being dramatic, maybe. She was still able to sew clothes and send them off to the theatre when need be to make income since Saffron had cut her hours in half to stay by Coco's side. Which...wasn't entirely healthy because Coco was gaining weight. A LOT of weight. Not just the baby fat, but a lot of extra fat from doing little to nothing and having nothing but cravings on the mind. Masala, being completely weak for her wife, would cook her up a buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner if she even implied that she was the least bit hungry for something. It was only after giving birth that Coco would realize that the fat didn't go away with the baby, so she had a whole new struggle to face. Saffron doesn't mind it, but Coco certainly does.

3. A big ol family of Masala Pommels. Next to Saffron is their son, Mallow, and next to Coco is their daughter, Tropilou. Their life would start in Canterlot, move to Manehatten, then finally settle in Ponyville.
