1. owo? whats THIS? Dallas and Giga Grape are childhood friends? Well yessiree, when your dad is a millionaire who partakes in the food industry, its only natural he pushes you to befriend the latest Pinkie spawn for business purposes. And, well, Pinkie, Party, and Cheese are never ones to deny a thinly veiled playdate. Giga Grape didn't really have many friends at his age, as he's one of the oldest in the cast, so anyone else that he could be friends with were either totally not his type (sorry Albino) or literal toddlers. Not to mention at school, kids often made fun of his weight... So he was excited to meet someone his age who hopefully wasn't a jerk.

Dallas, on the other hoof really didn't want to do this. But it actually turned out that the two got along. The issue was, well... Giga Grape at this point was naive, small minded, didn't really seem to know anything outside of his family and his family's friends. It was kinda sad really, and Dallas has never had a filter, so he wasn't very hesitant about telling Giga Grape how poor he is to his face, how having three parents is dumb, how his house isn't even a house, it's a restaurant with a bedroom, and that he should be kinda embarrassed because like...his parents were always loud, and annoying, and what did he do about it? He just listened and sat there and sang carols with them in July? Dallas introduced Giga Grape to shame and what was "normal" to him, and he was never the same afterwards.

2. Giga Grape and Dallas after camping outside a Surpreem store waiting for the new merch. After one visit to his big house on the hill, Giga wanted nothing more than the materialistic lifestyle. It was amazing! He had a hot-tub in a pool in another hot-tub, he had waiters and butlers--holy SHIT, he had his own bedroom?! Giga Grape loved the space, the freedom--Dallas' parents never even TALKED to him! When he thought about how much better his own life would be if he lived like this, and reflected on all of the things he did with his parents and how utterly embarrassing and weird they were... he never wanted to leave Dallas' place. Pinkie, Party, and Cheese weren't aware of this, however, only that their son had a new friend who he obviously loved to play with so much...right?

Really, both Dallas and Giga Grape were jerks. They threw rocks at ducks in the pond, used Dallas' status as Filthy Rich's son to get free food from restaurants "or else my dad will shut this place down." Kids at school shut up about Giga's weight, since they were scared of his friend's...well, everything. He felt strong and confident for the first time, able to talk back and even...be mean. But not too mean, he didn't want to make other people feel bad like how they made him feel bad...

3. Then Dallas had been snatched up by Cherry Jubilee thanks to child custody, and whisked away to Appaloosa. More on that here: www.deviantart.com/mylittlegam…

Nothing had shattered Giga Grape so much at his wee age of 13ish--how was he supposed to go on like this? No friends, no nothing.... now stuck in his stupid dinky room with his cooky parents (well, Party Favor was okay, he never bothered him much for whatever reason) and a new little sister who was annoying as hell. Of course, when a goodbye party was suggested, he was pissed. Enraged. How could they party at a time like this!? Everything was miserable, life sucked, nay, his parents sucked! From here, it would just be downhill for Giga Grape and an uphill battle for his parents in their attempts to bond with him.

4. Remember when I said Giga Grape didn't want to make others feel bad? [boston  jersey new york accent] Forget about it! Now that Dallas is gone, he's turned into a bitter prick who likes making others feel even worse than he does about having no friends anymore. Also, he doesn't want to be demoted back to being-the-bullied status, or having people think that he's a soft dummy weirdo like his parents, so he makes easy pickings off of anyone who looks at him the wrong way at school. He'll shove people, take their food, tear up their homework, tattle... he easily became popular with other jerks, and loved being the ringleader. When his parents tried to interfere, he just yelled at them and stomped up the stairs, slammed his door shut, and wouldn't come out for what felt like days. He was cruel to Pinkie and Cheese for seemingly no reason any time they even tried to talk to him, saying things like "shouldn't you be performing in a circus or something?!" when they would ask him how his day was. He would manipulate them into making all his favorite foods, saying "maybe if you make [this] I'll forgive you", eat it all and never thank them unless it was Party Favor. They never stopped trying, and this only made him angrier and angrier, and other ponies from the mane six would try to talk Pinkie through this and how to help him, but.... nothing would work.

Except Party Favor. And his siblings, sorta. They were the only ones Giga Grape were on tolerable terms with, but not even they knew why. This only furthered Cheese/Pinkie's confusion and turmoil towards their firstborn son. Will explain further...eventually.

5. Well, just because your son says he hates parties, doesn't mean he REALLY hates parties! Right? Right?

....It was here that 19ish Giga Grape finally decided that yes, I am going to move to Manehatten and never see these fuckers again.
