Studying

ive been doing a lot... and i mean a LOT of notetaking and refreshing myself up on the MLP lore... while i do enjoy headcanons and making shit up i do like extending it from a "realistic" place, and to do that i have been rewatching many many episodes lately. and i still have many more to go lol. lots of conclusions to get to, lots of stuff to make up. i havent even introduced all the nextgens in the gamiverse yet. what!!!!!!

another thing is that i don't want any single character to be "filler." i want everyone in the Gamiverse to feel like they're THERE, even if their role isn't as big, everyone's life is just as important... though i don't know if this is realistically possible for me to convey as an artist/author lol. it's pretty obvious i have favorites......but EVERYONE is someone's favorite and i want to give everyone the same amount of love/treatment. so that means a lot of revising... a lot of digging deeper.... and a lot of "oh god does this even make sense" lol.

and usually im doing all this by myself. i don't actually really discuss the Gamiverse with anybody LOL i mostly spit out ideas and then i have to ruminate them in my brain chambers for a week before making a decision. terrible process, lots of self doubt, takes too long. which is a shame because i like hearing other peoples' ideas/interpretations but its gotta be on the right wavelength with the same level of investment, hence why i dont talk to... 99% of my friends about the Gamiverse because they just cannot (and do not) care about it as much as i do LMFAO. not that i talk with them very much in the first place because my social battery is sooooo terrible and they have lives to live. oh well lol

i dont really know where im going with this rambling. i wish i drew as much as i wrote lol. i wish i could do the silly doodles instead of pausing and thinking about things for like 3 hours figuring out if its even a good idea or discarding it altogether. like yeah the Gamiverse is telling an overarching story of struggling against society and racial conflicts and queer stories and so on but MAN i just want to do SILLIES as well and not feel guilty (meanwhile i have 20 pages of mlp notes on my desk that need dissecting because of that one time Apple Bloom got the Cutie Pox)

like yeah lore is important but i wanna think about characters without going "waaaait a minute! why are they doing this?" and next thing i know im making a background for their parents and their parents' parents to justify the behavior of the child 3 generations later LMAO ouuuugh!!! idk i guess that's my update . "i go too in depth with my gay horse universe and dont know how to stop" is definitely a very privileged problem to have
