Happy Hearts and Hooves day...?

i'm not gonna lie i've been chipping away at this for over a month in between customs and you can probably see me giving up in real time as you look at the drawings ASDFJKL. these were meant to come out on Valentine's Day but that uh. didn't. happen. AT ALL. so. here we are, right on time LOL

i wanted to introduce other couples that have yet to appear in my nextgen, so here we go!

Coloratura x Autumn Blaze

These two live the absolute high life, doing everything they adore, live laugh love (but for real, I swear), and especially partaking in the arts of song and theatre. Coloratura has many concerts and charities and is a loud voice for the less fortunate, and offers many art programs and scholarships to give various creatures a hand. She's still retained her celebrity status after firing Svengallop, although she's a bit blacklisted by the industry afterwards, she still makes various TV appearances and lives happily away from the more blinding parts of stardom, happy to live on the down low with her wife away from prying eyes for the most part. She has several residences throughout Equestria (though often used as safehouses and for events for other creatures), but she quite likes staying with Autumn Blaze in the outskirts of Manehatten where they can see the skyline and enjoy the twinkling lights from afar. They also love frequenting the Crystal Kingdom when they need a getaway from it all.

The two of them love to travel, Autumn Blaze specially. She loves learning new things, wants to do all the things, her energy is unmatched and she's always happy to tag along on all Coloratura's tours and lectures. She's the first ever Kirin to be seen in Equestria in quite some time, so many give a confused glance here and there at the sight of her. She meets them all with grins and guffaws, absolutely ecstatic to talk to anyone about anything at any time ever. She gets by as a substitute teacher, a treat for any classroom she frequents. She's also frequently asked by various historians and scientists and colleges for interviews on the mysterious Kirin world. And what kind of fool would to turn down an audition? I mean, interview. She does theatre as well, but that isn't exactly taking off, as she's not very good at anything about memorization or following instructions, lol.

Gilda x Lightning Dust

Gilda is a hater of Rainbow Dash, and Lightning Dust is also a hater of Rainbow Dash. They're also both her exes! At some point, Gilda caught a Washout show at some point and thought it was cool as hell, and wanted to talk up miss Lightning Dust... mission accomplished, the two of them have been evilly deviously devilishly dating since. They like making fun of others together, being better than everyone together, sending Rainbow Dash snakes in the mail together, a true match made in hell. Despite it all, they do have their soft spots and quiet moments reserved only for each other, with Gilda shyly making a Hearts and Hooves day proposal or Lightning Dust spelling out Gilda's name in a ring of fire in the forest... the two love each other more than anything.

And that's why the coolest thing ever would be if they had kids who were the combination of their awesomness who could then also beat up Rainbow Dash's kids! It was the perfect plan! Nobody would say it to Rainbow's face, but the fact that she married a dragon and then had freakish giant dragon horse babies that beat all the other kids in the flying competitions... not cool. Gilda and Lightning can play at that game, too. Also, it would just be super fun to have some little super-babies running around. Griffons and pegasi getting together is seldom heard of, but it's a new age so why the hell not. Gilda is a bit apprehensive, as she doesn't have a maternal bone in her body, but Lightning Dust assures her that if it gets to be too much, they can just drop the kids off at auntie Fluttershy's and go about their business if they need a break, lol...

none of them have a toyhouse except Lightning Dust I think so. i'll get on that TToTT

fun fact: my mom's favorite creatures in the MLP universe are the Kirin. she said that she thinks all the ponies should look like that, and she's sad Rarity didn't get to be in the episode to see how pretty they are
