Cupid's Arrows

I made a few tweaks so that they fit my style better (mostly minor color changes) but otherwise I'll give the rundown of them all and their place in the band!

Scarlet Heartthrob 
He's one of the guitarists, and is capable of playing any of the string instruments meant for fame. Bass, electric, acoustic, you name it. He was used to doing half hearted gigs around Equestria, but now he's in one of the most popular rising bands and goddammit he's shameless about it. He buys up all the clothes he can and all the hair care on the face of the continent. He'll mention how somewhat-famous he is when he talks to people, he'll scoop up any suitors it brings, he'll make promises he can't keep to fangirls if it means he can get some attention or money out of them. He generously includes boys in this behavior as well. He's not afraid to cut corners or sellout, and is often a point of contention in the group because of this, but they keep him because....well, everyone who doesn't know him likes him. Unfortunately for the band, not a lot of people know him very well.

Dusty Rose
Dusty Rose practically runs the whole shebang. He's the older brother, the shepherd, the concerned fretting dad that makes sure everyone is okay and in line before they go on stage. Even though he's a rough and tough bad boy who WILL yell if everyone isn't getting along and WILL drag you by the ear into another room to talk you down, he does it out of a place of caring. He ALWAYS puts the safety, comfort, and mental health of everyone else in the group above his own, even if it's something as small as making breakfast or praising them after a show. He's one of the singers, but he's fine with playing guitar alongside Scarlet if it means Pearly gets more stagetime. After all, he's just so cute when he sings, and he's so sweet and kind and...and...n-no, nevermind!

Pearly White
We all know the man, the myth, the legend. He needs no introduction, but the Pearly we know and the one in the band are very different. Sort've. He's still his fake, smiling, cheery self looking at the other band members for wounds he can salt...but he can't really hold up the facade of "oh i care so much about how genuine my music is!" and "i care so much about my fans!" In fact, he finds it more beneficial, realistic, and less suspicious if he's a bit snappy and cold like most celebrities already are behind the scenes. They just have everyone paid off not to tell. So while Pearly White is convincingly kind, he does show himself to be rude and stubborn now and then...but most of all, he's just naive. He himself doesn't know this, but he's so absolutely socially oblivious, incapable of understanding what it means to be in a band beyond a marketing standpoint. The fact that he actually has to be surrounded by these other guys for a majority of the time didn't sink in to him until the tour, and it's proven to be extremely socially exhausting. He tells himself he won't give up, but it slips a little bit at a time.

Sun Flare
This bitch, on the other hand... he has a doctorate in being fake. While Pearly is great at keeping quiet and keeping tags, Sun Flare actually is charismatic and great at making friends. He's capable of adapting to different social groups like a chameleon, while Pearly prides himself on being consistent. Sun Flare came here for the stardom, for the money, all to feed his rather unhealthy addiction to the underground world and illegal substances. It usually never interferes with the band, except sometimes at 3 am they'll get a knock on the door from a massive earth pony with a suitcase labeled "The Goods", but other than that he's a fun guy. Although he fights for the spotlight constantly, will make last minute changes behind peoples' backs, and go off script just to be more focused on. He's actually kind, if a bit catty and judgmental, but he needs to be on the good sides of these other suckers if it means it'll make him look better. What he doesn't know is that yes, he actually kinda cares for them, even if they question his limb collection and attempts to get them into scary underground changeling fighting rings.

Dingo
He's a double decker himbo. Needs I say more?






Okay fine, I'll say more. Dingo went from riches to rags to riches. He has the most street credit and general sense of what it's like to be a normal civilian--no, even LESS than a civilian (the boy was begging for pennies on the side of the road with nothing but a two stringed guitar.) But he's eternally grateful to Pearly for taking him into this big boy band. He still kinda has no idea what's going on and is sorta just vibing through it all. He's actually good friends with everyone in the group, since he's hard to hate and easy to talk to. He loves to play little diddies on his guitar even when they're not practicing or performing, he's stuck to that thing like a moth to a lamp. He likes helping cook or just running errands, no matter how dumb. But sometimes he'll disappear for a couple days and come back with some random shit like a tub of "lonely venomous snakes" he found abandoned behind a back alley, or accidentally buying weed brownies that he mistook for "brownies made with actual weeds, like, yknow, the grass we eat". Despite his occasional stupidity, he always means well.

Sweet Beat
He's an emo-boy gone EDM, and it shows. He's still struggling a bit out of his antisocial tendencies, and getting the courage to try out for a band was a part of that. What he didn't think would happen was actually winning. Now he feels like a fish out of water, actually in a big band performing big time... he's always too nervous to even look fans in the eyes, or speak up during interviews. But he loves making beats too much to let himself quit. But since he's so used to performing in small crowds with minimal instruction from others, he's easily manipulated by people he perceives as knowing the industry better than him. Not to mention he's already passive enough as it is, so he tries his best to find comfort in his new band mates. He eventually warms up to them all and does see them as his best friends, even if he doesn't know not all of them think of him the same way. Other than Dingo, he's probably the only one who's genuinely there just for the music and to make people happy. His naive view of the world and goody-two-shoes morals will probably get him in trouble int he cutthroat music realm.
