I briefly mentioned that Vendetta has a little brother, and this is him, Achilles. She's about nine to ten when he's born, and has a strange fascination with him. But by this time, her parents, especially Starlight, push her to the burner due to her tendencies and want to focus entirely on Achilles. They want to plot and plan and figure out his life so they don't make the same mistakes they did with Vendetta, who bullies herself and cries constantly and all that other weird shit that makes Starlight confused and Moondancer concerned. But! That doesn't matter anymore, because they have a new project, one that was successful: Achilles.

With the power of magic, genetic manipulation, love and will, Starlight and Moondancer came up with the great idea of a goat unicorn and executed it perfectly. When Achilles was born without defect, they cried for days with joy, while Vendetta was left in her room with her toys being ignored. They've spoiled this little boy rotten since he came out of the womb, and have even decided that it's probably best that he'll go to school with other fillies (under the guise of Moondancer being a single mom--they can't risk Starlight being found out.) Also, these moms are just really proud of what they've created, so they can't just keep it to themselves. 

But Vendetta is aching. The things they say about this baby that can't even do anything, like he's a godsend and a masterpiece... what did that make her? Starlight was always so hard on her, but at least Moondancer tried to help, but...now that Achilles was here, it was all dwindling. It was all his fault. Why? Why didn't they like her? Were they dolls too? Nobody liked her, it felt like....not even the ones that made her...was she a mistake? Was Spuddles right? She did everything he said, from watching her moms sleep to collecting their hair and trying to make them their own dolls out of it.... But they still didn't like her. Now that Achilles was here, she knew they hated her.

But she had underestimated what their hate was really like.
