So Im 17 Now

The idea behind this was that my characters decided to throw a birthday party for me, but they were super kinda late in throwing it. Mattox (up front) is trying to take a selfie of the moment just as a disaster is taking place in the background. Two of the characters I have never finished drawing before now (the two with purple hair, Violet and Vincent), but they’re the biological cousins of Sharlott (the redhead who’s blinking during the picture). Violet was hanging up the banner while Nia was supposed to hold up the ladder, but since Nia was posing for the picture Violet ends up toppling over. The only two people who noticed this happening were Vincent and Jackal (the cat). The rest of the characters are shown in this ref sheet:

(I originally made it so that Alistor’s hair/eyes changes color with the seasons, but I ultimately decided that was stupid and changed it so his hair/eyes stayed at an auburn color, or what his hair would’ve been in the autumn. And the bad guy in this story is green. I can’t have Alistor looking like the bad guy.)

Anyway I meant to finish this on my birthday or at least the day after, but it ended up taking so long because I had a super busy schedule all of September :/ but it’s ok, it turned out better than I thought it would. Maybe I should add in some better lighting, but I think I actually got really close to hitting the max amount of layers on procreate (151), and I think I made the app crash at least once working on it, so maybe I shouldn’t add anything else
