Monsieur Robespierre, Hast Thou Seen Thy Wrong?

The title was going to be “Same, But Different,” but then I added some more details and decided to be a little ✨ dramatic ✨ with the title. And then I came up with a little story so there you go. 🙃 Probably too extra for a little sketch but whatever.

Rouge (Red) and Bleu (Blue) were twins and alive during the French Revolution. As a young child, Rouge spoke openly against Robespierre’s actions during this time, unaware what horrible consequences would await him if he were caught. But he wasn’t. His twin was. Bleu was executed by guillotine for “speaking against Robespierre,” and Rouge hanged himself afterward out of guilt. Then they were reincarnated in America, near where a direct descendant of Robespierre lives. The story would probably continue with Rouge trying to get revenge on this descendant behind Bleu’s back while the both of them try to fit in in a new environment. Maybe a dark comedy or a straight up depressing semi-horror story. Not that I’m good at drawing/writing scary things XD
