Sticky-the-Dog

Okay, so those of you with me on watch may have noticed a complete lack of Weekend Update for the last month. And...that's because I think I'm done with the comic for now. Simply put, I'm pretty much burnt out on the whole thing. That stretch where I was doing four episodes per comic definitely contributed, especially once it resulted in me getting a week behind. I'm glad I was able to finish out Code Geass, but now that that's gone, and now that Bleach has lapsed back into filler, I'm really not feeling it. The fact that I always found the comics I was turning out underhwelming is another factor. But...gimme some time. You'll still definit

Just figured I should de-frontpage the previous journal entry, since it was only relevant for the one day. So there really was no new Bleach this weekend (got pre-empted by G.I. Joe), so I don't technically need to do a comic. But I'd feel bad doing that after taking the previous weekend off. Maybe I'll throw some filler together or something. Downloads of Japanese Doujin games are often a PAIN IN THE ASS to install, but so so worth it.

Happy birthday to Spike Spiegel himself! Y'know, Marvel UK Transformers comics are awesome and all, but I HATE trying to follow these things through IDW's arc-dedicated, limited series that are taken out of context from the original Marvel US stories they were supposed to be bookending. I keep having to check TFwiki to figure out whether or not that was actually Straxus' Megatron clone that Galvatron teamed up with, or what Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge were doing back in 1986 in the first place. I *really* wish IDW would just balls up and do some full omnibuses for the UK issues like they're doing with the Marvel US comics, but it doesn't
