Raphael (OotS)

There's just something not quite right about these OotS Turtles designs, haha. Someone made a comment on one of the others about them being "uncanny valley" and I can agree, the attempts at realism in their design is kind of creepy.

I think what it really is, is that the nostrils and the flatter face/mouth area throw the whole thing out of balance. If only the nostrils where gone and the nose/mouth area was pushed outward a little it would look a lot more like the classic designs we're used to. Oh well, might be able to fix that in post-work after a render. Cool uploads!
