Hi hi everyone, This is just a very quick update to let you know I'm still around! My job has been a LOT busier, and a lot more physically active than I was expecting (I'm working at a movie theater, the biggest and one of the only ones still running in my city, and everyone wants to see The Batman @ _ @) Plus, we're short-staffed and I've been the one scheduled each week to unload and put up all the stock, and uh So far, I know for sure I am now way back in the shape I used to be! And the arches of my feet have fallen, so hopefully since they /did/ fall, they can't get any worse, right? x) Either way, the money is definitely helping out-- what sucks is that it leaves me with only 1 or 2 days off, and I'm trying my best to use that day or two to keep working on commissions while recovering from the physical work week. Hey there, everyone This journal is gonna be a tad long, but for a quick tl;dr: I got a job! And I opened commissions to take care of upcoming bills this week+essentials. Once I close this set of comms, I won't be opening commissions for a long while. Once I finish ALL commissions under my belt, I'll begin taking small FREE requests in my spare time, as well as finishing/uploading more of my own ideas and projects I've had to put off for a long, long while. Hi hi! This is going to be a messy journal, because I can't quite describe what all I've experienced in these past weeks, but I do want to give a small update because I know I haven't uploaded as much art as I usually have been. I've had financial issues before, sure, but it's been a good while since I've had them back-to-back. Bank issues resulting in missing/delayed bill money, having to cover for bills my mother couldn't due to her job being weird with her hours again, car insurance payments creeping up in monthly price for reasons unknown and unstated by the company; I can go on, but I'd rather not. On top of all of that, I'm having to explain to in-laws that travel for the holidays is just not feasible for us at the moment, and try to figure out a way to still get gifts to folks (and then ship them), and still work on commissions, all the while fighting my own headspace trying to tell me that everything's just bad.
