Try cross gatching with the light pencils, no blending or use only charcoal and blend with that. It'll be the next level for you man.
I don't generally like using charcoal. I'm left handed and I find the softer the lead the more the mess with my work. I usually try to use the ahrder leads, like the H's. (I hate pencil smears...)
You have the gift and the curse... its not fair but its life lol. Work it out man! Never get comfortable and you'll always get better.
Yep. This year I've challenged myself to try lots of new things with my art. Hopefully I can pick up on some new styles and techniques that I like.
