Beautiful image --and model-- the sandal bit can be removed with the "stamp tool" adding a bit of the wave coming to shore right behind it. Shouldn't take more than one or two touches IMHO that is :D

Thank you :)
I considered stamping out the sandal, but I decided to leave this image completely unedited - I think it's a show of talent to not need to edit a photo at all!

Totally agree :D I just mentioned the stamp because Jess sounded rather unhappy about that, at least that's my impression. Agree that the pic is just marvelous as it is

i love how you used the sunlight in this, and her red scarf really catches your eye and her pose is really strong but doesnt look forced, great job on this shot!

maybe you can remove the back part of my sandal to make it less distracting?

If I did that, I couldn't say that I didn't photoshop it :)
That would be too much editing anyway

whatever. you said it might be a good idea at first. you could always say.. no editing except....

but whatever. it's fine the way it is. just thought it might be better without the end of my flip flop stickin out there

Very beautiful, I love the sunlight behind her. With the blanket almost attached to her it's like she's a bird of paradise.

somehow i thought it would be better if she's barefooted.

I asked her to do this one without shoes, but since the limestone rocks are *razor* sharp we didn't have a choice but to go with the sandals. I made a really big deal out of it because I really didn't want to sandals in the shot, but there wasn't any way to get around it (i.e. stand in a position hiding them) :(

Kevlar socks. :D

Seriously, I know you can get Kevlar-lines padding gloves for just that reason.

i have a lame suggestion if you would like to try it again. bring two or three packs of 'blu-tack' (those sticky white or bluish plasticine-look-alike that stick paper or whatever to the wall) and spread them onto the rock where the model will rest her feet, possibly that could achieve the effect. :P

:iconstevecampbell:

or even stick it to the bottom of her feet lol ;)
I think i'll carry around a small, thick piece of fabric for this kind of thing in the future

that's a great idea! i was saying we should have something to put under my feet.. i was thinking sand at the time b/c we didn't have anything else. I wanted to be barefoot but like Steve said the rocks here are so so sharp :(
